DKG Development Showcases Piraeus Gate at MIPIM 2025

DKG Development recently participated in MIPIM 2025, one of the world's premier real estate events held annually in Cannes, France. The event provided an excellent platform for our team to present our flagship project, Piraeus Gate, to a global audience of industry professionals, investors, and potential partners.

Piraeus Gate Presentation

Our team presented the Piraeus Gate project, highlighting its strategic location, innovative design, and sustainable features. The presentation showcased how this development is positioned to transform the Piraeus district while respecting its historical significance and meeting modern urban needs. Attendees showed particular interest in the project's integration of technology and sustainability principles, which align with current market demands.

The presentation delved into the specific architectural and urban planning aspects that make Piraeus Gate distinctive. We emphasized the mixed-use nature of the development, which combines Grade A office spaces, premium retail outlets, and public recreational areas to create a vibrant urban hub.

Day 1: Piraeus Gate Presentation with Deloitte

The first day of MIPIM 2025 proved highly productive for the DKG Development team, with a series of strategic meetings that set the tone for our entire participation. The highlight of the day was our specialized presentation session with Deloitte Greece, represented by partner, Christos Kosmas. In the project presentation we had the honor and the privilege to have Mr. Tsiatsiamis, Advisor to the Mayor of Piraeus as one of the panelists, to give an insight of all new developments in Piraeus and how our flagship project Piraeus Gate completes the puzzle of the transformation of the city.

During this focused event, we presented a comprehensive overview of Piraeus Gate, discussing its unique market positioning and investment potential. Mr. Kosmas provided valuable insights on the financial landscape for large-scale development projects in Greece, emphasizing the importance of sustainable urban regeneration in attracting international capital.

The session generated significant interest from attendees, particularly regarding the project's innovative approach to blending commercial, residential, and public spaces. Several potential investors requested follow-up meetings to explore collaboration opportunities, underscoring the strong market appeal of Piraeus Gate.

Day 2: Networking and Industry Insights

The DKG Development team engaged in numerous one-on-one meetings with potential partners, investors, and industry peers, creating valuable connections that extend beyond the event itself. We were particularly impressed by several urban regeneration projects presented by teams from across Europe and the Middle East, with notable similarities to our approach.

The informal networking events proved just as valuable as the structured presentations, allowing for candid discussions about market trends and opportunities. The genuine interest shown in the Greek real estate market, particularly in Athens and Piraeus, confirmed our belief in the strong international appeal of developments like Piraeus Gate.

Global Industry Leaders at Cannes25

This year's MIPIM featured an impressive roster of international real estate and consultancy firms. DKG Development had the privilege of sharing the stage with two major players in the real estate advisory space through our joint panel presentations with Deloitte and Savills Hellas.

The event also brought together representatives from prestigious organizations including RICS, SwissLife Annecy, CMS, Redevco, Generali Real Estate, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), JLL, and McKinsey & Company. The presence of these industry leaders underscored the significance of MIPIM as a premier global real estate event and provided valuable networking opportunities.

The discussions and presentations by these organisations offered insights into global real estate trends, investment strategies, and sustainable development practices that align with our vision for Piraeus Gate and future projects.

Day 3: Expert Panel with Savills Hellas

The third day of MIPIM 2025 featured a highlight event for DKG Development: our participation in a high-profile panel discussion organized in collaboration with Savills Hellas. The session brought together an exceptional group of industry experts to discuss investment opportunities and development trends in the Greek market.

Our own Dr. Angela Michalopoulou, Business Development Director at DKG Development, represented the company on this distinguished panel, which included Dr. Marinos Giannopoulos, CEO of Enterprise Greece; Olivier de Préval, Director of Development EMEA at Six Senses; Louis Keighley, MRICS, Head of Development Advisory for Global Residential Development at Savills International; and Ricardo Severini, Global Sales Director at Elounda Hills.

Looking Forward: Next Steps

Following our successful participation at MIPIM, DKG Development is poised to capitalize on the connections and opportunities that emerged during the event. Our immediate focus will be on pursuing the numerous expressions of interest in Piraeus Gate, with follow-up meetings already scheduled with several international investors and potential partners.

The insights gained from industry leaders and parallel projects around the world will inform refinements to our development strategy. We're particularly excited to explore the sustainability innovations and smart city technologies showcased at the event, which align with our vision for Piraeus Gate and future developments.

We remain committed to our vision of creating developments that not only deliver value for investors but also contribute meaningfully to the communities in which they're located.
